The beginning of Bellis is built on what Katie and I consider a pillar of our family’s beginning, to “pick more daisies”. Bellis perennis is the scientific name for Daisy and is tied back to a poem that Katie’s grandfather, Merle Garman had referenced by Nadine Stair called, “If I had my Life to Live Over”. The premise of the poem essentially highlights the desire to slow life down, enjoy and create more moments, experience what life has to offer, quite simply… I would pick more daisies. This is what the creation of Bellis represents. We hope it encourages you to experience more of life, enhance your quality of life, live more freely… and start sooner.
